Pre-Interview Dinner attire: IMG

As an IMG, is it okay if I wear my traditional dress for the pre-interview dinner?
(Not too weird, but slightly traditional)
I am not comfortable wearing western one-piece dresses, hence the choice.
Please let me know if this is conceived appropriate. Thanks!

It would depend on the attire for dinner (I have gone in scrubs, so I don't blink at candidates that wear jeans, but we have a rather informal dinner), and what your traditional dress is. A conservative color that is at least somewhat flattering (not like you wearing just a piece of fabric to cover everything) should be fine. And you can always wear a skirt and blouse too, if you're not comfortable in one piece dresses. I have relatively few dresses because because I don't find them to be very flattering for my figure.
