I just received an email from LMU saying that I'm on hold and that if at any point my application becomes more competitive, to update them and that they will call me for an interview. I retook the MCAT on Jan 23, so if I did better where would I stand?

This is really broad. It depends on how much better you did. Did your MCAT score reach at least the average? How does the rest of your application look. You need to be more specific.

Sounds like the school will look at updated information if there is any. This is true of most schools and for any person. Hence, why most applicants write a letter of intent.

I'm not sure it would make much of a difference honestly unless the updated information is profound.

I guess we have to wait and see for your next score. If you get a 26, of course you'll be fine. I think you need to improve at least 3-4 points from 19 to have a shot at LMU.

LUCOM sent me the supplemental application this morning, I submitted it shortly after. The admissions guy sent me an email to fill out the supplemental app and that he's looking forward to meeting with me. Hopefully that's a good sign. I'm praying for the best.
