I emailed by pre-med advisor my AMCAS LOR form over a month ago. My letters were all uploaded to a letter collection service over 2 months ago. He still hasn't sent the letters to AMCAS... When I told him I'm already submitting secondaries and asked when he plans on sending them in he said "probably within 2 weeks".

Now.. should I tell this guy to stop jerking off and send them in or should I just wait?

Most schools won't look at your LoRs until you've submitted your secondary, so I don't see any harm in giving him another two weeks. The danger, of course, is that two weeks will turn into three and then four and then five. But you can cross that bridge when you get there; I'd let your advisor be for now.

It's an annoying situation but there's really nothing you can do. If you are too demanding or rude, you risk a poor committee letter or even further delays. You reminded him, so at least you know it's on its way. I'm in a similar situation, waiting on committee letter, and the committee specifically urged us NOT to ask about the status of the letter. So I have no idea if it'll be done tomorrow or next month or if they completely forgot about the letter.
