Pre-Meds who are still in school...

I have the same thing. Mostly because of the new years celebration after which I didn't go to sleep until 8 am the next morning. Now I go to sleep at 4 or 5 am and am lucky to wake up earlier than noon. Even when I wake up, I am so tired because of my messed up sleep cycle that I basically do nothing all day long. Sometimes I feel like a walking zobie during the day because of this.

I'm in the same boat here. It all started during finals week in mid-December, when I was essentially nocturnal. It continued until my parents insisted on waking me up early so that I got back on schedule. Well, now I'm nocturnal again, and it sucks because I have to wake up at 7am tomorrow.

dmitri, I know the feeling of doing nothing all day long because of the messed up sleep schedule. It especially sucks when you wake up and the sun has already set 🙁 This is why I started setting my alarm for 1pm.

Until when is everyone on break? I have until the end of January to continue this weird schedule.

Over break, was going to bed at about 5 am and waking up at about 4 pm... I know, it's just sick!

I know what you mean, it's 3:00 AM here and I just woke up. After I got home I was feeling a bit tired and ended up sleeping till now. I worked nights over the break, so this might be the residual effects of the switch over to days.

same here. i go to bed at 4 or 5 am and sleep for 11-12 hours. it sucks because all i do when i am awake is eat, watch TV, and post on SDN...i dunno, it kinda feels like a have a depression 🙁 .
i'm trying to go to sleep a little earlier every day, so i can wake up earlier and actually do something like work-out, read, meet friends for lunch while i'm still home...
it's not working get, but i'm making progress 😀

During break I had a crazy sleep schedule, and it's hard to break. I have to get up at 6:30 every morning to get ready for class (shower, get dressed, ...), and it's been so tempting to just turn the alarm off and get back to bed. 🙄

I start back on monday and I am not looking forward to it. The way I get back on a normal sleeping schedule is to skip sleep for 1 night. I usually do not feel tired the next day until about 6-7pm and then I will try to stay awake until 11 or 12 at which point I will finally go to sleep. It works like a charm every time.

I start school tomorrow, so this week I've been trying to go to bed earlier. Last night I wasn't even tired and ended up awake in bed for two hours.

Yeah, I had a 4AM to noon sleeping schedule as well. Sucks because you miss out on a ton of sunlight.
