You may be able to attend another club at a local school. We have a person who's been out working in industry for a few years but is interested in optometry again. He's been coming to our meetings to learn more about optometry. I'm sure most school clubs are open to outsiders.
If you can gather enough interest, I recommend you start a club. It's a lot of good experience and you can find some other people with the same interests going through the same process. You can go check with the associated students at your school (or whatever dept. handles clubs) and see what materials are necessary to start. Also, the bio dept. might be able to help announce your events to interested students.
