So...im in bit of a tricky situation, because I have taken Calc III but dont have Calc I and II credit. Most schools are OK with this, UCSF, USC, Iowa, purdue, maryland, minnesota, michgan, Un of washington and wisconsin. But my 3 of my schools...MCPHS, Un of Colorado and Un. Cincinnati which I think are a little bit easier to get into are not.....Should i take calc again?

The reason I got out of it was that i spoke with the chair of the math department, and he okayed it. I told him I'd rather just take Multivari Calc and that I understood Calc I and II. Also thats only one semester of math rather than two so I can take more advanced bio and chem classes. So he was like sure, just dont come crying to me if you dont do well. So he granted me an exception and I took calc III, which i got an A- in. My major of chemistry requires Calc I and II as a requisite class, and the Chem department didn't care. Also I ahve taken classes, Physics and Quantum Chem which require Calc I and II and prereqs. I did well in these classes. Do you have suggestions for either convincing these schools to count the class...or should I take them 😵 or just not bother applying?

Try getting the chair of the Math department to write a letter/email to the various universities attesting to your ability/proficiency of Calc I and II

Also, could you always try placing out of them? My school, University of Illinois, allows you take the equivalent of the final for the class at the beginning of the semester and if you pass it you get the course credit but no grade...essentially counts like an AP class.
