thank y'all for taking the time to review this…
Major: B.S. Nutritional Sciences
Overall GPA: 3.65
Prereq GPA: 3.57
Observation hours: 200 among outpatient sports, cardiac rehab, home health, neuro
I haven't taken the GRE yet
I began my undergrad at a 4-year private school playing a division 1 sport before suffering a career-ending injury. This caused me to transfer to Texas A&M due to financial reasons. I'm worried that transferring schools could look bad on my application as well as my GPA not being that high. However, I was curious as to whether these schools wold take into account that my major is rather difficult and includes many upper-level science classes.
I've completed Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Genetics, Microbiology, and Biochemistry 1 and 2. If you could give me any advice on how to strengthen my application I would be so grateful. I plan on applying to most of the Texas-based DPT programs.
