Hey Guys,
I am currently a student at Rutgers University preparing to go to DPT School.
I am especially looking into going to UMDNJ-Newark, or NYU.
Currently, my overall GPA is a 3.7
My pre-requisite GPA is a 3.5 (but I have not taken Systems Physiology yet, which will probably mess up my GPA)
Other than that, I have a professor who will be writing my recommendation, and two other PTs.
By October 1st (which is UMDNJ's application deadline), I will have about 310 hours of volunteer/pt aide work in two different out patient offices, and 20 hours in a home care PT environment.
I have not taken the GREs yet either, but hope to take it late this summer or the beginning of the fall.
For those of you who have been accepted to PT schools around NJ, and NY, could you tell me what my chances would be based on your personal experiences?
And if it is possible, I'd really appreciate if you guys could share some basic statistics with me regarding getting into PT school.
Thank you so much!!
