Would a B+ in Biochemistry be considered over a D in Organic II? I know that some medical schools have started accepting biochemistry in place of organic II and was wondering how it would work with taking both courses? I am unable to retake organic II because I can not fit it into my schedule which is why I am asking since I did better in Biochemistry.

I suspect any D won't be looked favorably, even if technically you may have a much better grade in a more relevant class when it comes to addressing prerequisite course material. I think there are some faculty members who may be convinced of your situation, but I don't think that would be an opinion held by a majority of faculty who may review your file.

Even if Organic II is not a prerequisite course at the school or if biochemistry can be taken in its place?
Not all faculty will react the same way. Plus your D will be included in any GPA calculations. How each school handles prerequisites vs electives will differ. I know some faculty who will highlight and count how many C and D grades you got on your transcript regardless of the type of class.
