Hey everyone,
not sure if anyone can help me with this but I am hoping to a apply to PT school this fall, I have most of my pre-reqs ready but i am nervous about my physics requirement because the physics i took in my undergrad was separate from the lab portion so i took the lectures but not the labs. i noticed some schools will accept a biomechanics class in place of a semester of physics and i have many other rehab/assessment classes from my kines degree at cal state fullerton. any ideas how stingy the schools are on the pre req requirements or do you think they will overlook something small like that if i have other things going for me on my application (ie. plenty of experience hrs)?

Thanks for your help guys!!

I had a similar question back when I was applying and the answer I got from all the schools I asked was that they were strict on their requirements and didn't make exceptions. They said if they made an exception for one person then pretty soon they would be doing it for everyone which would defeat the purpose of requirements. I know it sucks and you could probably argue a good case (I know I could of), but unfortunately pre-req's are what they are.

With that said, it wouldn't hurt to ask because you never know the answer until you do... they might make an exception for you.

thanks for the reply. ya i was afraid of that. oh well there isnt much i can do about it now since there isnt enough time to retake the classes before the due date. guess ill just apply and cross my fingers.
