hey all
Graduated from University in May of 08. Decided late that year that I would be pursuing medicine. By the time I had everything figured out (hahah....hahaha), it was too late to register at the state university. As a result, I started my chemistry at community college. This class incorporated the lab into it. I registered to complete chem II at the state school over the summer but the lab is not a part of the course. Now, after the first exam (B) and a couple of quizzes , I find myself in a situation where if I continue to work at my current pace, I will most likely get a B. However, I am also taking physics and physics lab. I am concerned that I will be digging myself too deep trying to rescue a Chem grade and will neglect Physics (which I am rocking).
Long Short
Take a W for chem at state, finish what I started at county (chem I) and complete the lab req at the same time (with a high prob. of an A based on past experience with instructor and teaching styles) OR risk the B in addition to having to take the lab over again in the fall. Worried about the W on the transcript more than anything else. The rest of my prereqs will have been done at the state school. Thoughts welcome. Thanks
