I took two pre-reqs, organismal and molecular biology, my last semester at college. Since they weren't necessary for my major (physics) and I was already at 120 credits, my school didn't give me credit for them -- instead of 4 credit hours for organismal (which included a lab) and 3 for molecular, have an "E" on my transcript for "Course is excluded from credits and excluded from the GPA." I still have grades for them on my transcript: an A for both.

Will these count? Not sure how I possibly could've fulfilled them any other way. How should I include them in my coursework for AMCAS?

Thanks for any info!

Call AMCAS and ask. Seems as simple as a 5 minute phone call

If they are shown on your transcript (the official one you are sending to AMCAS) then AMCAS will take it. They don't care about how your school processed it so long as it shows up on your official transcript.
