Anyone have any information on how flexible schools are on pre-requisites they have listed? For instance, I have 5 credits of Physiology and Anatomy and Midwestern says it wants 6 of each and OHSU says it wants a year sequence of anatomy/physiology (although my school only offers a 2 class sequence). Additionally, I have a BA and fulfilled my school's English requirements (Eng 101 and a Poli Sci Writing Intensive course) but some schools specifically say 9 credits of English (and only list Comm, English, etc).
Common sense would suggest that since I managed to get a BA, especially in the social sciences, that I would know how to read and write effectively but do the schools use common sense as effectively? Does anyone have any experience with this topic? I plan on throwing extra classes in where I can but as a non-traditional student, my plate is pretty full with my core science courses (luckily Midwestern, where I have my interview, says they will let me take pre-reqs into the summer which'll work).
Thanks for your input.
