Pre requisites expire?

I'm planning on reapplying to PT school ext year since my GPA and GRE scores are not at a competitive stage. I'm retaking some prerequisite courses to boost my GPA and retaking the GRE later on this year.

I was wondering if prerequisite classes expire.

It depends on the program. Every one is different and has different requirement. Most programs have a 5-7 expiration date for science classes. I would contact the programs you’re interested in and just directly ask them.

And be careful also with retaking classes because PTCAS still averages out the classes and some programs do not accept the higher grade. Depending on your state most programs take the higher grade but I would also ask them about there repeat policy.
