Ok so the pretest series for each subject like Pre-test Anatomy histology and cell biology consults a number of books that they use their questions from like saddler, junquiera, ross, KLM, moore and etc do we need to consult all these books or is KLM and Ross for histology suficient to be able to answer all questions thrown at you

also for biochemistry the pre-test series uses Murray, Scriver and Lewis which one is good for biochem and its clinical aspect????

since i consider pretest to be the worst question book series ever, i'm going to just say, pick something you like that has a fairly recent edition out (last 5 years for something like histo, newer for changing fields like genetics) and is well rated by your professors and former classmates. i always ask the course prof what top 2 reference books and top 2 review books he recommends for a subject, then check them out in a bookstore and pick either one of each for massive subjects (like path, physio, medicine) or just one that i really like for something less intense (like histo, micro, genetics, bchem).

a book is only good if you actually read it. so bottom-line, pick one you like and stick with it. conversely, if it's not working for you, dump it and find another. sell it, burn it, whatever - just pick something that fits your learning style.
