I've been studying for the October PCAT, and I've been stressing over calculus so much and drilling that, that I haven't thought that much about the precalculus. What kinds of precalculus stuff do they ask on the PCAT? Are there a lot of graphs/unit circle stuff? Anything that would shed some light on this would be greatly appreciated!🙂

From what i remember, you need to concentrate on:
Calculus:
-Derivatives (including velocity and rate)
-Integrals
--Area under the graph
--Definite and indefinite
Precalculus
-vectors
-the circle with sine and cosine and relavent angles etc.

He pretty much covered it all. Also practice doing calculations very fast. I remember one complicated algebra problem that wasn't hard, but just time consuming. Then there's a few fraction and percent problems that make you think, so try to practice those. A lot of the problems in general are like that, not very difficult, just sort of tricky. You have to know exactly how to manipulate the problem correctly. Also save the time consuming ones for last, because there were a couple of real easy problems that took like 2 seconds. Make sure you knock those out first. You definitely want all the freebies you can get for that section.

someone please be more specific on what topics to study or pay more attention or must know for calculus and trignometry besides derivative and integrals.....any help is appreciated..its been long time since i took calculus and pre-calc..
