Hello,

Barron says ppt occurs when I.P > Ksp, but the solution is already supersaturated. I think ppt occurs at I.P. < Ksp. Am I right? thanks!

ppt will occur the second your I.P. rises above the Ksp. At Ksp you are saturated. In order to supersaturate you would need to warm the solution adding more solute. When IP is below Ksp, no ppt will form.
