So, I am very familiar with predatory journals and have heard of these predatory conferences. But this is the first time I have been targeted by a predatory conference.

I've wondered for a while:
1) Who the hell goes to these things?
2) How do they continue to survive?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm definitely interested in learning more about "Dielectrical Behavioral therapy," "Counselling Psychology," and not only simply Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, but also "Therapies in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy" and "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy basics and beyond" (which is also the title of a book by Judith Beck).

My favorite is the constant switching in the spelling of behavioral/behavioural... they really can't decide.

It's groundbreaking. Who knew that incorporating ECT into the existing DBT framework could lead to drastic improvements!

I can't wait for Dr. Linehan to talk about the new dielectrical aspect at the seminar this summer. She likes to have clinicians practice the skills in DBT during workshops so maybe we get to zap each other, too! 😱
