I am a graduating senior planning to apply in the next cycle. I'm looking for predental enrichment programs to gain some exposure to dentistry. I found UMDNJ's gateway to dentistry and University of Minnesota's dental school preparation course. These would have been perfect, but gateway to dentistry doesn't fit my schedule (it's during my final's week...
) and the spring session of dental school preparation course is full.
I'm wondering if there are other similar programs out there? Since I'm planning to send my application out it June, I don't think summer enrichment programs would help. (or would it?) Programs with classroom components are also not exactly necessary, since I've taken all the required classes and am taking DAT in late March. (fingers cross
) I'm really looking for the exposure/shadowing experience.
