I took TopScore test #3 today:

AA: 17
Bio: 18
Chem: 16
Ochem: 14...
PAT: 18
QR: 17
RC: 20
TS: 16

So how much do these scores tend to go up?... I'm taking the real deal on Wednesday and want to score better than this. Also, what score report does do the schools get? The entire breakdown or just AA/TS/PAT? I was hoping for 20's on the DAT, I got 18/18/18 last year.

Crocko, to be honest, i would reccommend postponing it, particularly because of the OChem score. My topscore #3 results were pretty much similar to my DATs (except for Gchem, which went up 3 points). For Orgo, you should probably try making flashcards and memorizing all the reactions that you see in Kaplan, as my exam had approx. 70% reactions (none of which Kaplan didn't cover). The actual Ochem wasn't much different than Topscore, at least to me it wasn't. (i pretty much avg 20 for Topscore and got a 21 on the real thing; however, the Topscore #3 was the easiest of the 3 in my opinion)

yeah that organic score is aweful for sure, I didn't study organic b/c it's so dreadful. Thanks for the advice. I may just get the thing done with and hope for the best.

don't postpone. organic is by far the easiest science to study and can easily be mastered in a day or two. i studied for organic for maybe 2 hrs and scored a 19 on the real thing.

What were your other topscore scores? i agree with student, your scores are low especially ochem. the actual exam is most similar, imo, to topscore. although it is true the exam is easier on the actual, i would be weary to base my future scores on that assumption. postpone it a week or 2 and take it when your confident. its better then retaking it in 3 month right?

We'll see, but I'm absolutely tired of thinking about this thing. I'll let ya know how it goes. I really don't think I try too hard on the Topscore b/c I'm so eager to get the scores at the end. But do the schools get all the scores on the sections? or just the 3 main scores? I've heard both.

bauer how did you study for orgo. I want to also study it a little. Im avergaing 17-18 in orgo on topscore. Howd u "master" it in 2 hours lol?

Schools get all your scores with the whole break down...
