prednisone allergy

I'm surprised someone would use morphine as a first-line treatment for migraine. I rarely, if ever, give narcotics for headache patients.

i am always offered fent, morph, oxy, endo, something like that. my BF has just finished his ED rotation as a 3rd yr surg intern and at my last admission he was trying to convince me to have something stronger than panadol (tylenol) and ibprofen for a 10/10 headache..i get offered it but i tend to sleep alot and really don't like being woken up when i'm trying to sleep off a headache...then i am mostly told 'you need a radio-guided LP' ...the RMO looks at me with scared eyes and i just shrug!...
