hello everyone..i have a question..do the universities give preference to your spouse or fiance during admissions if you are already studying in that university..i mean is it easy to get in for your partner if you're already in that uni ..plz reply if anyone has knowledge about this ..

Well, admissions already has a reason to believe that person would attend if accepted, which is an advantage.

I don't think it makes a difference. I know someone that applied because their brother was in that school and they didn't even get waitlisted.

i was just asking about spouse..i think brother/sister wont get the same benefit as a spouse..innit .

It's the same thing as a sibling wanting to go to the same schools as a spouse would want to go to the same school. Also if you think about it, it might be a negative to some people and couldn't help you at all. There are so many people that want to get in so I doubt them choosing you based on your husband/wife being there will factor in. Or you could say that someone is born in the US and did their dental school outside of the country. Do you think that person has an advantage over other people? No everyone is treated equally and seen for the skills they have, not the connections. Different people see things differently so it's up to you how to take it.

i know nobody gets in because of their connections..i just heard that you get a tini mini preference..that's all..i get your point tho..thank you.
