There's an interesting thread in the non-traditional forum regarding a young woman who is expecting her first gremlin during prime interview season. This tickles my curiosity: have you been to an interview with a visibly pregnant applicant? How did it go over?

Please no mommy wars. Just curious how often pregnant mamas are interviewing. 😳

Haven't seen one yet, and I interact with interviewees fairly often.

Have seen pregnant wives accompanying interviewees, though.

One of my classmates (guy) is married to a 1st year..got her pregnant...and she was pregnant all through her year and just had the baby! I cant imagine that..2 med students with a newborn. I also had another classmate who was pregnant first year and had her baby the summer between first and 2nd year. None of the guys took ANY time off which is mindblowing! All come from supportive families and are good people.

If you were far enough along I can see flying to anywhere being a problem.
