This SDN after match is getting very boring. Lets talk about prelim, where do we go, how many programs should we put on the list in order to match, "name programs" or "cush", IM or surgery ?

What if you match OPHTHY and you don't get into a prelim program? (For many reasons, locations, too few programs on the list, careless at the interview after so many OPHTHY interviews)

Scramble. To avoid it, rank ALL the prelim/trans since they can also be competitive.

I agree, you should rank all the prelim programs that you interviewed at, especially if you want to stay in a particular geogramphic area (LA, SF, NYC, etc.).
