I'm having a hard time deciding which preliminary programs to apply to. I'm looking for a list of IM & Trans programs where you get an excellent training and an average applicant has a decent chance of getting in. A lot of the forums go on and on about which programs are easy etc... but that info is really useless to me.

Any advice on trans vs IM. My gut instinct is if you spend a year in IM you'll at least gain decent experience in pt mgmt.
