Hey everyone,

How's the reading coming? I'm in a busy IM program and have only had time to read practical ophthalmology. I haven't really been able to read much else. I was browsing book 2 of BCSC but it was very dense.

Anyone else feeling similar?

Same here, intern year has been pretty rough and it's difficult to read material when you don't see regular ophthalmology cases. I've read practical ophthalmology as well and just finished my ophthalmology rotation last month. I probably will just enjoy the rest of this year as much as I can and hit the big books next year when I'm seeing patients daily.

I've read the same few pages of BCSC book 2 on a number of occasions. Best intentions. Poor follow-through.

What we need is to hear from the infamous Billambeer- see if he stuck to his ambitious reading schedule that he set out last academic year 🙂
