Is there some website out there that shows the success rate of premedical students that graduated from my undergraduate university? I want to know how many were accepted to medical school, and average gpa/where they got accepted. Is this listed anywhere? Its not on my school's website. Thanks

If it's not on your school's website, we're not going to have it. I would suggest talking to your pre-health advising office and see if they can help you out.

I don't believe there is any sort of central database that keeps track of this. If this information is available at all, it will be through your school. Your school may not even officially keep track; I don't remember filling out anything official that let my undergrad institution know that I was going to medical school after graduation.

Check if your school has an account with AdviseStream, which shows how many students from your undergraduate applied to each medical school in the past 4 years, how many accepted, and average accepted MCAT/GPA. It could be quite helpful to see which medical schools tend to accept many students from your undergraduate institution and which schools typically do not.

Not to mention that the way those stats are calculated can be misleading: Eg. Are only seniors who received a committee letter considered? Or does it examine everyone who started off freshman year as a Pre-Med and then dropped out?

Very true, my UG's pre-med office boasts a very high success rate for medical school applicants, but they heavily screen and there's also self-selection. The data they work with are from those who have applied through the office and received a committee letter.

Talk to your pre-med adviser. I'm sure she/he will supply you with adequate information regarding this topic.. Like other posts, the adviser will most likely mention how many people matriculate into medical school, etc. Ask for average GPA and schools people have matriculated too.
