Premeds: What supplements do you take?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
creatine, whey protein, prohormones (occasionally) - teh ergogenics

phenibut, l-tryptophan - relaxation

caffiene, ephedrine, modafinil, piracetam - stimulation/thermogenic

What I'm finding here is that, at least among those who have chosen to respond in this forum, there are a lot of you who regularly lift weights (inferred by the use of whey and other protein supplements).

In a way, I wish I knew how to reserve the time to do this for myself. It just never seems to make the cut off of priorities for me in the day. In fact, sleeping or playing with my dog usually tops them. What makes you guys keep lifting weights regularly? I mean, I did when I played football... and I've tried to start back up several times since then, but each time I find myself asking "why am I doing this?"

Goon whoisthedrizzle, I can't say that I agree with you now a days. I started lifting for that very reason (anybody who says otherwise is lying to themselves) but once I reached my goals of <10% bodyfat at a nice ~165lbs my success with girls didn't change. At all. So I ditched the diet and now just lift and eat clean for the health purposes, which consequently got me interested in medicine. But maja hops is kind of right, it's pretty boring and I'm trying to find something else I enjoy.

But yea I guess my point is I started lifting to look better for the ladies, but once I got to where I thought ladies would pay me some attention, they didn't. Haha I guess the "brad pitt in fight club" body can't make up for other things. Oh well.

edit to contribute: Clenbuterol, whey, etc

They have supplements for that, too. I've seen them advertised before on TV at 3am.

Even if I did have a gloriously small micro-penis (real syndrome, go wikipedia it, it's hilarious), it's not like I walk around with it hanging out of my pants. How would anybody know? Besides everybody knows enzyte is a bunch of BS. I forget the name of the other one though.. with Bob and his wife and the whistling in the background.

I take half of a men's multivitamin, a calcium-magnesium-phosphate complex, and a probiotic supplement. A good way to decide whether you need a multivitamin (or any other supplement for that matter) is to keep a food diary and enter it into a nutrition program (like food processor) to evaluate your diet. You can usually access a nutrition program like food processor from a university computer, if your university has a nutrition program.

I wouldn't take need the supplements myself if I didn't have a digestive problem. But, I stick to a pretty varied and healthy diet.

Dude not to be a dick but 165 bro... cmon. That's not even big. Unless you're 5'5" you should be 190+ if you're serious about putting on lean weight.

Number two, girls can't tell the difference b/n 16%-10% bf with a shirt on. But when you get to the point where you rip your shirt off they can. And they tell their friends. It's all about getting to that point. Your bf does not get you there, your game does.

I bolded the take home point.

LOL at someone from SDN using clen, well played bro.

Go to the mind and muscle forums (google it) then once in the forum go to the neuroscience section. you can search or make a thread but you will get the realist answers you could possinbly imagine.

Vitamin C. I'll take a gram per day on a normal day, but up it to 5-6 when I'm sick or feel a cold coming on.

You sound like one of those arrogant douches on the bodybuilding, steroid forums. Whether or not he is a big 165 depends on your definition of things. If your are a bodybuilder, then you clearly wouldn't consider him to be big (unless he is legally a migit, in which case he is one strong dude). However, if you are an athlete in MMA, BJJ, or other such sports, then you might consider him to be particularly big/strong for his weight class.
