I was hoping that all those students that overcame obstacles and made a comeback etc. and applied to med school could post here! I know there are a lot of you out there and with all these posts being started about low stats etc. and chances of getting in it would be nice to have one thread where comeback students just share their experiences.

i cried when i got my mcat scores (27-O) cuz i had always heard "don't bother unless you have at least a 30"...but i applied anyways, and got accepted to all 3 osteopathic schools i applied to, and waitlisted at rush, loyola, and loma linda.....there's always hope, as long as the adcoms see that low numbers don't mean you're not a good person
