Premium IOL's with just A-scan??

A little archaic, but with a good pre-op refraction and manual Ks, I imagine it would be alright. Error rate would likely be higher than if you had topography, though.
think that's really below standard of care at this point. Also, with the extra fee they are charging for these lenses, the least they could/should do is get these other tests. Let's just say if it was my eye, I wouldn't want it worked on with this minimal testing by cheap docs trying to make the most profit...very shady
Contact a-scan? That's sub-par standard of care.
Are you sure they don't do immersion a-scan? In the hands of a good biometrist, an immersion a-scan will be just as accurate, if not more so (i.e. for a dense PSC) than an IOL master. The university where I trained never had an IOL master. They used immersion a-scan and manual K's, plus orbscans for premium IOL patients, and their results were spot on.
