Anyone has any two cents to share for me?

Starting general surgery internships in one of the NYC hospitals and feeling kinda apprehensive.

What would you say was compulsory reading, or must-review material?

here are the typical responses u will get
1- search this forum before you ask
2- it is useless to suggest anything u have to go them and read them urself
3- as an intern in academic hole, it is unnecessary to read at all

How about reading the NYS nurse's union documentation? There you will learn about how it will be your job to start IVs, transport patients, and essentially anything not conducive to being a surgeon.
