Prep course?

Hey,
I had a quick question about filling out classes on AMCAS. Before i started at a University I attend a community college and i Had to take prep college English classes (Horrible at it). Anyways , what i was wondering was if these class are calculated towards my GPA? the suffix & number was ENC0024. Also, i didnt recieve credit for them althought i passed them all. THNAKS for the help.

I would think if you didn't receive credit for them, they would not be counted in your GPA. In this case there would be no way for them to weight the grade you receive.

For Example:

If it was worth 3 credits and you got an A: 3.0x4.0 = 12.00 GPA points.

If you change to 0 credits, clearly it would be worth 0 GPA points.

Finally, a better question may be if you would show them at all on your application and if so what would you put? Call AMCAS and ask, usually they are very nice and helpful!
