Preparation for Psychiatry boards

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Are you just now starting to study? I did some of Beat the Boards but mostly the Spiegel and Kenny book. A fair number of people don't study and do fine. I'm going to take a practice test the day before and see how it goes, I may or may not take it this year. I paid for it but I am applying for a 2nd residency in FP next year, I failed it last year and failing twice would look even worse when applying for FP. Good luck

Thanks for the reply, the preparation is for taking the boards in 2018

Ya got lotsa time. Unlike me cramming my brains out. Like I will see kids with Tay Sachs and need to know what chromosome and what enzyme deficiency. The Prite is NOT like the board. IF it's way based on all the specifiers in DSM5 I am doomed.
