Stats: Cgpa 3.65 Sgpa 3.7 , only MCAT spring 2016 517 130/130/130/127. ORM, NO IA but have one withdrawl from summer class, and one during high school.

Research for three summers as well as during senior year one semester. Also have volunteer at childrens hospital for around 200 hours. Have some other small volunteer activites ~100 hours or so and have around 100+ hours of shadowing. Currently working full time as a scribe in a clinic.

Got 1 interview from my state school first cycle- rejected

Currently 1 interview this cycle from other state school but rejected. No other interviews. Hoping on state school interview later. Pretty sure I have a decent school list applied mostly middle tier schools, almost no reaches. Possibly a little late, sumbited early august/late july for most secondaries.

Not really sure what is wrong with my app. I asked about my essay and people have said its good. Have a committee letter who advisor told me was good as well.

Hey @Arturiase, sorry to hear about your cycle. I think you’re on a good heading from the previous advice myself and others gave you in an earlier thread. I would seriously take a look at your writing next cycle. Only 1 II per cycle says something is fishy. Also, getting rejected post-II both times says there is something up with your interview skills. Do lots of mock interviews before the next go around.

Did you improve your application from 2nd time to now, if you did by quite a bit you should get in? I'm assuming the first reapplication you didn't improve much which might have lead to rejections. School list might also have played a role and when you applied cause your app looks good.

Mainly just added more volunteering and scribing during gap year and plan to apply do next round. BTW to clarify this will be my third app, not third reapp.

Where did you apply to this cycle and where was your interview? Where is your state of residence?

Pretty much close to every private school within my LizzyM range and interview was at umkc, Missouri is my home state.

I am surprised that you have not received more interviews with your stats. The interview season does extend until March so you could still hear from some schools.

I would really take a look at your essays. Could be a writing problem.

How many schools did you apply to? How timely were your primaries and secondaries?
What was your process for your PS?
Do your LOR writers actually know you?
Did you seek post rejection feedback from your instate places? especially the ones where you interviewed?
Is your volunteering and shadow accurately reflected in your your app? did you show insight from this experience?

you mentioned a W from HS -- I don't think you sent them your HS grades, right? One W in college shouldn't matter
