Preparing for Step 1

I am planning on taking Step 1 in April. Concerning preparation, I am thinking of using the Kaplan videos (2010) and UWorld only. Does anyone have experience with this method, i.e. no First Aid, BRS, Rapid Review, Goljan, etc? Any better ideas? Thanks.

I can see not using goljan or brs, but why drop first aid? it has a lot of good mnemonics and quick charts and stuff. at least buy yourself an old edition for $20 on amazon so if you are doing uworld and want to look something up quickly you can...
