I live in California and will start school at Temple in the fall. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I should be doing to prepare for dental school. I know that the obvious answer is take classes however; my university would not let me take classes unless I am admitted as a grad student. Any suggestions on how to prepare for Temple other than classes??

DO NOTHING! Do what you have always wanted to do but haven't had the time to do it. Travel, sleep in, eat bad, do whatever, just nothing that has to do with school. You will learn everything you need to know in school. Enjoy your second to last summer off ever and relax.

I'm a 1st year at Temple. In preparation I went to Europe for a month. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

I went on tour with my band before I started at Temple.

Don't do anything related to school before you start.

1. Get fitted for a bullet proof vest
2. Buy a hand gun, no smaller than 9mm
3. Get a concealed weapons permit
4. Get all bullet proof windows/panels on your car
5. Buy a second wallet with Monopoly money so you can give it up when you are being held up
6. If you are female, get breast implants and stock up on tight shirts for practical days
7. If you are male, get plently of lube

Shave your ankles for a better grip. Read my blog, it is the #1 Temple Dental website and is qouted in just about every JADA article.😎
