Hey guys I was wondering can I still apply to a medical school even if I haven’t finished all of my prerequisites. I plan on applying to Meharry this next cycle however I will not be finished with my Bio lab and Physics 2 by the deadline. I am set to graduate fall 2011 and I plan to send in my application during summer 2011. The deadline for applications is December 15 I think. Will I still be considered? They will all be completed the semester that I graduate.

I am unsure but I think you can put those courses under future coursework and any acceptance would be conditional upon completing the required courses.

The bigger question is how are you going to prepare for the MCAT in time without these 2 important classes?

Well, if he only is missing bio 2 lab, and physics 2, I hear that physics too isn't represented that much on the MCAT. so you may be able to get by with just self studying. I'm also pretty sure that the above poster is correct, since your just missing 1 course, and a lab, it won't matter too much as long as you finish before you matriculate.

Generally, there's more physics 2 stuff than physics 1 on the mcat. And chem and physics is almost split 50/50 on the PS section of the mcat.

so physics 2 is pretty important.
