Hey Guys I had some concerns about my Prereq GPA and how it's calculated. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaii Manoa and have taken alot of class's in anatomy and physiology. I'm wondering which one will count towards most schools anatomy requirement? Heres the break down of class's I've taken just like it says on my transcript...

Zool 141 Human Anatomy & Physiology I 3cr Grade: B
Zool 141L Human Anatomy & Physiology I 1cr Grade: B
Zool 142 Human Anatomy & Physiology II 3cr Grade: A
Zool 142L Human Anatomy & Physiology II 1cr Grade: C
Phyl 301 Human Anatomy & Physiology 3cr Grade: C+
Phyl 301L Human Anatomy & Physiology Lab 1cr Grade: A
Phyl 302 Human Anatomy & Physiology 3cr Grade: B-

KRS 353 Structural Kinesiology 3cr Grade: C-


I'm thinking of retaking KRS 353 this summer but want to make sure it counts. It was a pure Anatomy course and the best Anatomy course I've taken. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

So you took like 4 anatomy and phys classes? It's best to contact the schools you are applying to. And as far as calculating the GPA on PTCAS, the system breaks it down to multiple categories (i.e. A&P, Math, other sciences, etc.) So when you mark the courses above as A&P classes, I believe PTCAS will calculate all 4 classes into your A&P GPA if that's what you were asking.

Ok thanks I didn't realize you could calculate GPA on PTCAS. Appreciate the insight. Yea I took 4 Anatomy/Phys class's but I noticed alot of the schools prefer a strictly Anatomy course. Thats the reason I'm thinking of retaking KRS 353 Structural Kinesiology but I guess I'll need to call the schools about what they prefer.
