I've been in the process of filling out secondaries and many of them ask you to fill in the grades and course titles of the prereq's. I took 1st semester biology for a grade, but never took the second semester evolution/zoology. I was an undergrad chem major and got a masters in cell biology from a SMP at Tulane. (wasn't a good program at all if you looked closely at the classes they had me take, plus it was the first year they had that program). an advisor told me I wouldn't have to take second semester biology because I had an upperlevel bio course with a lab that adcoms would take as my second semester intro biology. any ideas on how valid that advice is? should I take second semester bio somewhere and indicate on the secondary that it will be complete before I enter school or before I apply again?
my other question is whether I should retake some of the prereq's for A's. I took these classes about 10 years ago and with orgo I and II, I currently have C's in those classes.
thanks guys
