Would it be a big deal if I have not completed one of my prerequisite prior to applying to med school? I will be applying this upcoming cycle- but not taking Bio I until next fall. So my grade wouldn't be out until December. I have taken Bio II and received a 4.0. Will this be a problem?

Your prerequisites just need to be completed prior to matriculation.

As long as you've completed your other pre-reqs and have taken the MCAT already (i.e. it's not "hurting" you in any way), it's fine as long as you complete before you matriculate. I took two of my pre-reqs (Physics II and Biochemistry) my senior year spring that didn't show up on my AMCAS transcript and nobody has brought it up.

Ok thanks- I am taking my MCAT in August, so hopefully they will get the scores on time. Just out of curiosity- is biochem required to apply?

No, but our general chemistry sequence is only 1 semester, so I used biochem to satisfy my 2 semesters of chemistry requirement.
