Hi,

I'm am applying to optometry schools this year for the 2013 classes. I want to apply to the schools once their process begins but looking over the applications I notices that I still have 2-3 courses that I still need to finish in terms of prerequisites but since I am trying to finish up my degree this year I want to take these courses in the fall.
My question is that will my application be considered ( can I be called for an interview) even though my prerequisite sheet would state that i'm completing the courses in the fall and won't have the grades till december and I'm applying in July and August.
My GPA is 3.46 and I'm writing my OAT in 2 months.

Any help would be really appreciated, thanks! 🙂

Yes of course your app will be considered, most schools require prereqs to be completed the Summer before you matriculate.
