OK....Here's my situation....My primary app has been mailed to schools...Now I only have 7.6 credits of GChem....and I know that your supposed to have 8 credits. I had emailed several admissions offices with my list of courses and all seemed to think they were OK.....I guess I'm just paranoid about it now..... The especially frustrating part of it (if I do have to make sure of the 8) is that I TEACH GenChem lab now as grad student TA!!! Just checking to see peoples thoughts about this. Should I contact the admissions offices again just in case??? Thanks!!!

One other thing....if I do get secondaries....does this mean that I meet their requirements and I shouldn't worry about it???

I would call the schools you applied to and ask them about your situation.

A secondary does not necessarily mean you have "met their numbers requirements." That seems to be a misconception that circles around here a lot.

The last thing you want is to gain admission and then find some sort of technicality pop up somewhere. It can happen.

I did send all the schools I applied to a message today about my situation. I figure depending on the responses I get I will follow up with phone calls in the next day or so. Hopefully I'm just paranoid and all will be well!!!
