Hi , Greetings to all. I have a quick question on Biology lab requirements.

I had a 5 pn AP Biology and so took credit for Biology I with lab and Biology II with lab. I am majoring in biology, so I will be taking plenty of higher level biology classes. But my question is about biology lab requirements.

1. I will be taking “Human Physiology Lab”. This will satisfy one lab requirement. This is a separate course independent of Human Physiology theory class.

2. I am also planning to take Cell Biology with lab (4 credits) and Microbiology with lab (4 credits). But these two labs are not separate courses. They are embedded with the theory classes. Will they be sufficient for the second biology lab requirement or do I have to take one more lab class that is independent?

Thank you.

Yes those will work. Your transcript will say the courses have lab. Some grades for lab and lecture are combined while some keep them separate; it's just for grading purposes. If the course includes lab it will be visible and will satisfy the requirement.

Great. Thank you

IME Anatomy and Physiology may not work, but Cell & Micro likely will.
Thank you for your response. Physiology lab is 400 level class where as biology I lab and biology II lab are 100 level. So, thought it would work. I will call a few schools and get some feedback
