Hi everyone,
I just know that you have to take two courses of Human anatomy and Physiology and one Microbiology. Some schools even require Introduction of Biology and Biochemistry, Immunology classes😱. I start to get confused now😕. Because it means that there are a lot of courses to take for Pharmacy schools.
Do you guys have any idea about what prerequisites to take for Pharmacy if I still don't know which school I would go to?🙄
Thanks a lot.

You should take a look at the old posts from the last 2 weeks or so. Someone posted an amazing PDF file i believe, and it had a listing of a lot, if not all pharmacy schools and their requirements, etc. I think I have it saved on my computer somewhere, but you'll have to go looking for it yourself.

Awesome job whomever that person was. Very helpful. 👍

oh that does sound like an amazing form... i must find it

thank you thank you thank you... to the creator and PrepharmKID for posting 🙂

To op, whatever the pre-reqs are just make sure to take Biochem in undergrad. I regret not taking it in college and i'm suffering right in pharmacy school. I'm learning Biochem in pharm school right now for the first time and it's a struggle for me.

If you are not sure what school you want to apply to, then just follow the class schedule for biology majors. The curriculum for bio majors will cover pretty much 90 percent of the requirements for pharmacy school. The other 10 percent will vary from school (i.e. humanities, social science). Also you have to take speech/communications, but which one will depend on the school.

Finish the core requirements before you focus on biochem, etc. However, as someone mentioned its a good idea to take biochem, but don't let it screw up your gpa (because its not a walk in the park).
