Prerequisites in Central Texas

I live in Killeen, TX and I am getting ready to start taking my prerequisites and was wondering if anyone had any recommendation on what school I should take them at?

Any accredited college or university is fine. I looked online and Tarleton has a 4yr college in Killeen that is part of the TX A&M system. That would be fine... or a Jr. college or community college is acceptable.
