Would it matter the type of classes I take in these subjects? For example, for physics, what if I took Conceptual Physics instead of Algebraic Physics? Or what if I took a class on the Biology of food rather than Anatomy?

If your school Identifies Physics as "introductory" (whether it is calculus-based or algebraic) it should be sufficient.
The biology of food is not introductory Bio.

Ask your career advisor which Physics series would be considered introductory. In other words, not physics for nurses or for engineers...
