Seriously?

Even ignoring the marijuana aspect of it, how is it legal for a vending machine to dispense prescriptions? Is it only because marijuana can't really be prescribed legally anyway, so it's not as though the patient could get it from a pharmacy?

The owner also states, "It will dispense medications from antidepressants, to pain medications, to Viagra..."

How is it legal for these medications to be bought from a machine? Maybe I'm missing something here. Just wondering what a pharmacist's or pharmacy student's take on this is.

It won't be long before the DEA comes along and raids that place and takes the machine off the sidewalk.

It's so weird how it can be a legal state law, but illegal national law...allowing the feds to raid if they see fit.

Well basically legal state law/illegal federal law means California will try to spend $0 in the apprehension/investigation of pot smokers/etc... SFPD officially got a memo telling them to put pot arrests at the absolute lowest enforcement priority.

In Illinois, those machines are legal for refills.

wow that is interesting. Isn't Tokyo the city where almost everything there can be bought out of a vending machine?

some times cali just seems like another planet or some far away strange land.
