Sorry if this has been talked about alot before. Im just getting peoples opinions on the importance of going to a "prestigious" school. I have been accepted to Midwestern-CCP, where Im sure Ill get a solid education. I also have an interview coming up at the University of Tennessee. From the research I have done, UT seems to be in the top 10 or 15 in terms of pharmacy schools and I have a good chance of getting in. I will be paying out of state tuition to UT which would be about 3000 more a year. What are your guys opinion on the importance of going to a big dog school? My main criteria of a school is based on 1.) location 2.) The students Ill be around 3.) The faculty. I believe it doesn't really matter so long as you work your ass off. Just wanting opinions

There is no credible top 10 list for pharmacy schools. End of story.

UCSF has been the #1 school on every list...but that doesn't matter. What matters is 1) cost 2) warm weather...all other things do not matter.

If you are interested in working retail and not doing a residency after pharmacy school, you shouldn't worry about prestige.
