Prestigious Summer Research Program or Publications At Home University

Hi everyone. I can't seem to decide what to do next summer. I have the opportunity to either a)attend a prestigious summer research program (HHMI Janelia Scholars Program) or b) elect to stay at my home institution where I can publish 2-3 more papers. I currently have 7 publications.

Any input would be much appreciated! Thank you .

Turn this into a poll but I think you should go for the Janelia Scholars Program.

Take the scholars thing. You already have a **** ton of pubs and 2 or 3 more prob wont make a difference

The prestigious internship isn't going to earn you any special marks but you might get a lot out of it in terms of professional development and being somewhere new. Ordinarily, I would say to stay at your home institution and publish since productivity and longitudinal experiences are important but since you already have shown productivity, I say go for the one you want most.
