Step II Pretets for Step 2 any good?

Guys, had a question. For step 1 pretests are pretty much useless, but it seems lots of people out there are using Pretest for Step 2. Are they any good? Also when most people refer ro pretest for medicine and Surgery are they referring to Harrison Pretest Questions and Schwartz surgery questions or the small pretest series books?

Pretests OK. I prefer USMLE123 because in addition to the short explanation, it actually includes a blurb out of a textbook. The blurbs are sometimes right on and exactly what you need to know, but sometimes they have little to do with the concept being tested. It also helps that you can get a 1 month or 1 week subscription.
